Franklin County CBCF is a prison diversion initiative aimed at decreasing recidivism and enhancing public safety.
Our mission is to create a secure and safe environment that fosters behavioral change through tailored
programming and cognitive restructuring.

The Franklin County CBCF is a 180-bed institution that accommodates adult male offenders (referred to as "residents") for a maximum duration of 180 days.

The CBCF prioritizes community safety above all.

Additionally, we focus on addressing residents' criminogenic needs through intensive cognitive behavioral programming to mitigate their chances of reoffending.


Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) (Non-Exempt)

ANNUAL LPN SALARY:
$52,000-$56,160

ANNUAL RN SALARY:
$58,240-$62,400

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Directly accountable for observing and monitoring the actions/behavior of felony offenders in a residential, minimum-security correctional environment; oversees residents in accordance with established rules and regulations; ensures the facility is maintained in a safe, sanitary, secure, and orderly manner; completes necessary documentation; conducts searches, security checks, pat-downs, urinalysis, and breath analyzer administration; manages crisis situations and assists in intake/orientation processes; transports residents.

Aids residents in the behavior modification process by effectively applying Cognitive Behavioral techniques and practices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position involves considerable standing, walking, sitting, talking, listening, and reaching with hands and arms. Must be capable of transferring up to fifty (50) pounds. Visual ability must be adequate to operate equipment, if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess proficient computer skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral/written communication abilities are essential. A background in or knowledge of corrections or social services is preferred. Must be able to work collaboratively within a team. Must hold a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain a good driving record. Position is subject to mandatory overtime.
