Key Responsibilities

We have multiple openings available. Two positions will focus on clinical nutrition for inpatient services, while one will cater to outpatient care in the CKD Clinic and dialysis.

Your role will involve:

  • Implementing the nutrition care process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention (food and nutrient delivery, education, counseling), and monitoring/evaluation.
  • Providing specialized nutrition care for patients with complex medical needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to establish medical nutrition therapy (MNT) guidelines, develop educational materials, and mentor dietetic interns and new staff.
  • Working alongside dietetic technicians and administrative personnel to deliver programs that enhance both therapeutic and wellness initiatives.
  • Conducting research to identify best practices and measure the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Exhibiting strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited internship.
  • An advanced degree in nutrition or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in clinical dietetics and relevant specialty certifications are advantageous.
  • Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credential and LD/N licensure in Florida are mandatory.

Employment Status

This position is exempt.

Compensation Details

The annual salary is $57,000.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday.

Weekend Requirements

There will be a rotating schedule for holidays and weekends.

This position does not involve international assignments.
