Financial Collections Coordinator

We are excited to announce an opening for a Credit Specialist within our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on managing and collecting accounts receivable, collaborating closely with the credit manager to align with company objectives. Your responsibilities will include meticulous documentation, organization, and a proactive follow-up process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and collect outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring accurate updates in our system.
- Oversee overdue balances and reconciliations, maintaining a clear monitoring process.
- Provide recommendations for credit holds on accounts, subject to management approval based on established criteria.
- Resolve disputed items promptly, escalating issues to upper management when necessary.
- Review credit documentation and approve new accounts in accordance with guidelines.
- Conduct daily reviews of override reporting to maintain accurate credit files and limits.
- Communicate effectively with customers and sales teams regarding orders held due to credit issues.
- Compile and monitor documents for job accounts, ensuring all credit information is up-to-date.
- Complete general office tasks, including answering calls and maintaining regular follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and various management levels.
- Effective communication skills for sharing solutions with team members.
- Proficient problem-solving and computer skills.
