About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial stability and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general cost accounting and other related duties to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and maintain the general ledger.
  • Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
  • Verify accounts payable to ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
  • Assist outside auditors and gather necessary account information and documents for the annual audit.
  • File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
  • Coordinate with software vendors to maintain accounting software systems and recommend updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 4 years of accounting and financial operations experience, preferably in cost accounting and tax reporting.
  • Strong general financial and cost accounting knowledge, with a focus on GAAP.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
