About the Role

Southern Cal Telecom, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections, analyzing project scopes, and creating estimates for services and goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Analyze project blueprints and scopes to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain estimates for services and goods, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure estimate approval and project success.
  • Manage bids from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Create and manage budgets, work schedules, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other construction professionals to ensure project success.
  • Source and manage subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Order and manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, comparing estimated costs to actual costs.
  • Ensure safety compliance and obtain necessary permits.
  • Oversee quality control, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong report writing and strategic planning skills.
  • Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects.
  • Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
