Role Overview: The Investment Consulting Analyst collaborates closely with Investment Consultants to enhance the client experience through meticulous analysis of private wealth client portfolios, aligning with our commitment to client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead portfolio assessments and financial planning reviews for new clients, engaging with various teams within the firm.
  • Develop and assess investment policy statements that reflect clients' investment goals, risk tolerance, and restrictions.
  • Formulate asset allocation strategies, conduct financial planning analyses, and select fund managers, including modeling and optimizing portfolios.
  • Work alongside Investment Research to create tailored solutions for client portfolios.
  • Prepare and customize client reports and supplementary materials as required.
  • Oversee all aspects of client account management.
  • Process approved trading requests using trade rebalancing software in coordination with the Middle Office.
  • Design and implement plans for investment decisions, portfolio reallocations, and rebalancing, while monitoring ongoing client needs.
  • Collaborate with Performance Analytics to develop effective reporting solutions for clients.
  • Address periodic audit requests for investment-related data and analysis.
  • Maintain proactive communication with Investment Consultants regarding all client-related matters and projects.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on meeting outcomes and action items.
  • Keep accurate records of client accounts and investments in the CRM system.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and vendors.
  • Conduct special analyses and projects as needed to support Investment Consultants.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment while being capable of working independently. Successful candidates will take pride in their contributions and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Investing, or Economics.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of mutual funds, investment managers, and asset allocation principles.

Work Environment:

  • This position may require up to 5% travel for training or business events.
  • Offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days remote.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.

  • Effective communication skills to convey information clearly.
  • Mobility within the office to access various areas.
  • Capability to lift equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
