Position Overview
We are seeking a Catalytic Investments - Risk Training Consultant to support a U.S. Government Institution. This role is vital for developing and executing training programs that enhance risk management capabilities for our team and stakeholders involved in catalytic investments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials focused on risk management for catalytic investments, tailoring content to meet the specific needs of various audiences, including internal teams and external partners.
2. Conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars, utilizing diverse training methods and technologies to effectively communicate complex risk concepts and tools.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and knowledge gaps related to risk management, conducting assessments to ensure training programs address current and emerging challenges.
4. Create and update training curricula that incorporate best practices, industry standards, and lessons learned from previous projects, ensuring materials are relevant and aligned with organizational objectives.
5. Develop and implement evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training programs, gathering participant feedback to enhance training outcomes.
6. Promote a culture of continuous learning by sharing knowledge, insights, and resources related to risk management, facilitating discussions among team members and stakeholders.
7. Maintain detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and feedback, preparing reports on training outcomes for senior management.

Collaboration
Work closely with other departments, risk management experts, and external trainers to ensure the integration of best practices and innovative approaches in training programs.

Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, training, or a related field, particularly in development finance or catalytic investments.
- Strong instructional design skills with a proven ability to create engaging training content.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, capable of communicating complex concepts clearly.
- Deep understanding of risk management principles, practices, and tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying information to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, adept at managing multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt training methods and materials to meet the needs of different audiences and evolving risk management challenges.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or certifications in risk management or training (e.g., Certified Risk Management Professional) is preferred.
- Familiarity with development finance, catalytic investments, and blended finance models is a plus.
- Experience in development finance or international development sectors is preferred.
