KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee team members engaged in cleanliness duties within and outside the facility, ensuring exceptional guest service.
  • Manage supply orders, maintain inventory levels, and ensure that storage areas are orderly and adequately stocked.
  • Supervise equipment inventory and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs for all cleaning apparatus.
  • Optimize the use of departmental resources for maximum efficiency.
  • Clarify company policies to team members and enforce safety protocols.
  • Document data related to work assignments, personnel actions, and timekeeping, while preparing regular reports.
  • Conduct interviews and make hiring choices to sustain adequate staffing levels.
  • Adjust work schedules to align with organizational needs.
  • Propose modifications in working conditions and equipment usage to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve work-related issues or assist team members in troubleshooting challenges.
  • Evaluate and mentor team members regarding their performance and professional growth.
  • Initiate or recommend strategies to inspire team members to reach work objectives.
  • Collaborate with other department supervisors to synchronize cleaning activities and event support.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Operations to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Assess the workplace environment to guarantee compliance with best practices throughout the organization.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and engage with internal departments.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Familiarity with and capability to operate various commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Critical thinking skills to address departmental challenges and propose cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain a professional rapport among staff members.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally within the entertainment or hospitality sectors, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team to foster a positive team environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting operational and maintenance documentation.
  • Eligibility to obtain a gaming license.
