Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Curriculum Developer Intern/Volunteer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-energy, interactive workshops and summer camp curriculum to create engaging experiential learning experiences for youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum for workshops and summer camps that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Curriculum Development Manager and other team members to ensure seamless execution of programs.
  • Research and identify innovative learning activities and technologies to incorporate into training programs.
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including courses, student guides, training manuals, teaching aids, and videos.
  • Participate in collecting and organizing feedback on existing training programs and materials.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with established instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer proficiency with Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Curriculum Development, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Junior or Senior status if currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
Additional Information
  • Time commitment: 8-10 hours per week.
  • Mandatory weekly and monthly meetings (virtually).
