Tailored programs are crafted to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each participant, ensuring a compassionate and attentive approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct support, mentorship, and coaching in various life domains, including daily living activities, personal hygiene, life skills, community engagement, and transportation assistance.
- Facilitate an enriching lifestyle for the individuals supported, enhancing their quality of life through dedicated services.
- Oversee and assist with all daily requirements of the individuals, including meals, personal care, transportation, recreational activities, community involvement, medical needs, and medication management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is mandatory (preferably with one year of college experience).
- A minimum of one year of experience working with the target population.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Current certifications in CPR/First Aid, Mandt Systems, and medication administration are required, with timely refreshers.
- No restrictions on lifting; ability to assist individuals physically, communicate effectively, and perform various physical tasks.
Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, energetic, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to program participants.
- Willingness to support individuals with diverse diagnoses and needs.
