Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Automotive Warranty Administrator to join our team at Mercedes-Benz of Loveland. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for reviewing and completing warranty claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims, and maintaining relationships with our manufacturer's designated warranty representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warranty Claim Processing: Process all claims by the next business day following the RO close date, handle and resolve claim corrections and charge-backs, and review every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with the manufacturer's designated warranty representatives, analyze problems, identify trends, and develop strategies for maximizing claim process.
  • Reporting and Auditing: Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status, conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, reviewing all old claims, and address any adjustments or write-offs.
  • Payroll and Scheduling: Weekly processing of technician payroll and possibly working some extended hours during the last business day of the month.
  • Customer Support: Assist service consultants in closing all open warranty RO's, assist service consultants and technicians with any warranty questions, and assist with special projects, audits, and reports as requested.
Requirements
  • Personal Qualities: A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization, personal and professional integrity, and ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information, general familiarity and ability to use Microsoft Excel, and general knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations.
  • Experience: Experience in an automotive dealership and high school diploma or equivalent.
