Job Title: SRE Manager

At Apple, we're looking for a highly skilled SRE Manager to join our Cloud Services Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Site Reliability Engineers and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud services.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize engineering deliverables
  • Develop and implement structured engineering and operations processes to improve velocity and efficiency
  • Optimize the performance and reliability of our cloud services to meet the needs of millions of Apple users
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in critical, large-scale distributed systems, combining hardware, operating systems, and software
  • 3+ years of experience building and leading engineering teams, ideally in SRE or Production Engineering
  • Strong emphasis on SRE as an engineering subject area, with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Golang, Rust, Python, or Swift
  • Understanding of SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts

  • Competitive base pay, with a range of $181,000 to $313,000
