Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Department of Mental Health-MHC Aiken-Barnwell. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing excellent customer service to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including front desk operations, patient registration, and medical records management.
  • Assist with scheduling and rescheduling appointments, and conduct required audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in supervision meetings, training, and agency meetings, and comply with corporate compliance and risk management policies.
  • Provide quality customer service to patients, staff, and community partners, and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma and work-related experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • One year of experience working in a healthcare setting and providing administrative services.
  • Knowledge of office management principles, policies, and practices, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, exercise judgment and discretion, and train other employees.
