Job Summary

Vector Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Security Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for prospecting, presenting products and services to businesses and homeowners, and ensuring proper documentation for sales agreements and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively schedule sales appointments with current and prospective customers.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate customers about Vector Security products and services.
  • Generate and track new leads to continue expanding the reach of the business.
  • Identify ways to market products to new consumers, including identifying new target market segments/opportunities.
  • Uphold relationships with clients to ensure they remain satisfied, that their questions are answered, and that their needs are met.
  • Meet with other associates and sales consultants to discuss innovative ways to effectively sell to new and existing customers.
  • Constantly seek new ways to make products more attractive to current and prospective customers.
  • Demonstrate advanced sales knowledge and stay up to date on all company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing sales and related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 Years of previous sales experience
  • Valid Driver's License, with acceptable driving history
  • Alarm industry experience (preferred)
  • Product knowledge or ability to learn various products
  • Technologically adept (tablets, smart phones and computers)
  • Customer Service skills
