Business Development Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Manager to help us recruit plumbing companies, supply houses, and other organizations that cater to customers with potential water damage in their properties. In this role, you will foster current relationships with referral sources, find and create new relationships, communicate with the production team, and share the great work of our team with our referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
  • Meet or exceed designated development targets
  • Create and implement effective development strategies
  • Keep track of all client progress through our CRM program
  • Expand the territory over time and recruit additional talent to the team
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in water mitigation, water restoration, plumbing tool/supply sales, or a related field with a presentable track record of success
  • An early riser who is ready to attack the work week
  • A strong, positive, and winning attitude and ability to be persistent
  • A leader that pushes a team to its potential
  • Existing relationships with insurance agencies, plumbing, or construction trades will set you apart from other candidates
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of technology and computer literacy
  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
