Job Description

Security Officer Positions Available

Global Elite Group is a leading provider of aviation security services, and we are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Aviation Security Officers.

Responsibilities

  • Aircraft Access Control: Ensure that only authorized personnel enter the aircraft while on the ground.
  • Aircraft Ramp Access Control: Provide AOA access control & safety oversight while aircraft is on the ground.
  • Aircraft Search: Meticulously search all areas of the aircraft according to company, and federal regulations to ensure the safety of travelers pre-departure.
  • Baggage Security: Surveillance of the bag room & baggage make up area to ensure no baggage is stolen or pilfered.
  • Catering Security: Provide surveillance at the catering kitchen, searching all catering equipment, and ensuring that nothing is tampered with in transit from the facilities to aircraft.
  • Passenger Verification: Provide exemplary customer service in airport terminal while making sure that all passengers have valid identification and are authorized to board flights.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Upon hire, must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.
  • Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams as administered by Global Elite Group.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Highly Preferable - at least 1 year of security experience.

Language Skills: English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

Work is performed in a combination of indoor/outdoor environments, and involves exposure to noise, chemical, and other contaminants, moving mechanical hazards, and extremes of temperature and weather conditions. Must have sufficient visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses; sufficient auditory ability, with or without audio logical devices; able to tolerate exposure to noise levels up to 120 decibels; capable of being on ones feet for extended periods of time and lifting 50 pounds unassisted.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Must exhibit sound judgment and decision-making.
  • They must have the ability to follow directions and outlined procedures.
  • Must comply with HR, legal, and ethical policies.
  • Must include appropriate people in decision making.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
