JOB SUMMARY


This position is focused on finance and is responsible for executing cycle counts, as well as compiling and maintaining records regarding the quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stored within the facility and/or items designated for return. The role involves investigating root causes for discrepancies in counts, conducting quality checks, and supporting the product recall process. Additionally, this position includes responsibilities as a Will-call Clerk on scheduled Saturdays.


Our ideal candidate will be available to work the following shift to meet our operational needs: Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the accuracy of the physical inventory count through cycle counting and other assigned tasks.


Conduct cycle counts of the warehouse at least four times annually, covering all pick and reserve slots for discrepancies and product/packaging integrity issues. Perform quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items through collaboration with the Merchandising team. Execute recoup functions.

Investigate causes of weight variances, receiving/put away/letdown issues, and damaged products in slots resulting from warehouse movements.

Proactively verify First-in First-out (FIFO) items for appropriate rotation.

Confirm that reserves are accurately recorded and verify the count of each reserve pallet.

Ensure the put-away and transfer processes are executed correctly by both day and night personnel.

Initiate and document product transfers from the cooler to the freezer.

Review standard management reports and investigate causes of inventory shrinkage.

Coordinate will call orders as scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Preferred 1-year experience.

Professional Skills

Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.

Effectively communicate before groups of customers or associates within an organization.

Exemplary listening skills to facilitate effective two-way communication.

Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
