- Regulatory Inquiries and Audits: Support regulatory inquiries and internal audits by conducting in-depth data analysis.
- Data Visualization: Create data visualizations to clearly communicate findings and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Machine Learning Algorithm Development: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy machine learning algorithms for compliance monitoring.
- Compliance Monitoring and Training Tools: Assist in developing compliance monitoring and training tools.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in data science, with a focus on data analysis and machine learning, and at least 2 years of experience in energy trading or compliance roles.
- Skills: Proficiency in Python for data analysis, coding, and statistical modeling, experience in implementing data monitoring and anomaly detection systems, hands-on experience with database queries and data manipulation, and knowledge of the energy markets and familiarity with regulatory bodies like CFTC and FERC.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with tools like Power BI, SQL, and machine learning platforms.
