We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Hiram, Georgia.
Job Summary:The Computed Tomography Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform CT scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Position patients correctly, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
- Operate CT equipment, maintaining optimal performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan results, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training and education sessions as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT scanning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
