Job Overview

Role Summary

The Warehouse Material Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting production operations by efficiently moving, transferring, and fulfilling orders necessary for production needs. This position involves executing inventory transactions using Oracle and delivering materials to production areas to fulfill work orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and stage materials in designated areas to maintain a systematic workflow.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment while performing material handling duties.
  • Operate various equipment such as forklifts, walkie riders, order selectors, or pallet jacks to supply materials to production zones.
  • Accurately pick and pull materials from warehouse or Kanban locations while conducting Oracle transactions.
  • Weigh, verify, and restock returns from production back to appropriate warehouse or Kanban locations.
  • Confirm the accuracy of part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and locations when pulling materials.
  • Transport finished goods from staging areas to the warehouse to maintain organization.
  • Manage label control to ensure all information is precise.
  • Reconcile work orders to guarantee correct materials are issued and all transactions are completed.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and zone counting as directed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Complete shift tasks as assigned.
  • Process move orders and material requests.
  • Resolve Oracle errors as necessary.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, perform basic calculations, and navigate complex computer systems accurately.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Open availability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule as required.
  • Experience operating forklifts is mandatory; Oracle experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year or more of relevant experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements

Work is conducted in a clean room environment. The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or kneeling. Candidates must be able to use a computer or touchscreen for data entry and occasionally lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs. The position involves working around automated robots and heavy machinery.
