Maintenance Director Job Summary

The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our residents and staff. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal facility operations.
  • Analyze supply needs and order inventory, reporting equipment outages and breakdowns to management.
  • Supervise maintenance workers and monitor assigned jobs to ensure timely completion.
  • Perform maintenance and repair functions in areas such as painting, electrical repair, plumbing, and drain cleaning.
  • Conduct general grounds keeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and snow removal.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of job experience in maintenance.
  • A valid Missouri or Illinois Class D Driver's License is required.

Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
