Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans, ensuring accurate data recording and documentation.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and consultants to promote student progress and growth.
  • Design and prepare detailed special education lesson plans, incorporating diverse teaching strategies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
  • District of Columbia certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
  • Preferred knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities and ability to evaluate students accurately and objectively.
