Job Overview

Delta-T Group is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and executing differentiated lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement multisensory teaching strategies to enhance student learning and achievement.
  • Communicate effectively with school administrators, teaching colleagues, and community members to ensure student needs are met.
  • Collaborate with students and their families to identify strengths, interests, and needs.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of goals in inclusive classes, providing accommodations and modifications as needed.
  • Establish a classroom culture that fosters high achievement and student ownership of their learning.
Requirements
  • Commitment to the success of each student.
  • Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Experience in writing and monitoring IEPs and communicating with families and service providers.
  • Master's degree in special education preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience and results demonstrating student development.
