Job Opportunity

Delta-T Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Washington, DC area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other specialists to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Develop and implement specialized teaching materials and strategies to support students with disabilities.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
  • Use a variety of assessment tools and techniques to evaluate student learning.
  • Teach academic and life skills using specialized instructional methods.
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to support individual learning needs.
  • Implement and manage behavioral interventions and strategies.
  • Work closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other specialists to support student development.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEPs, and any incidents or concerns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to work amiably with colleagues, students, and their families.
  • Experience in working within all school settings.
