About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our Product & Technology Team at Procore Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust integration solutions across our enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Integration Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of complex integration solutions using Workato and Camunda across our suite of enterprise solutions, including Salesforce, Netsuite, and Workday.
  • Technical Leadership: Offer technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring they follow integration best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements, define integration architectures, and deliver comprehensive solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Regularly oversee, diagnose, and optimize integration processes to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all integration architectures, processes, and workflows, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable work experience. 12+ years of experience combined in programming, integration design, and implementation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices as they relate to integration deployment. Experience working and developing integration using platforms like Workato, Camunda, Mulesoft, and Snaplogic.
  • Integration Architecture and Design: In-depth experience in integration architecture and design, particularly with Camunda. Proven track record of handling large-scale integrations involving Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Experience in designing and implementing workflow orchestration using Camunda, including creating BPMNs for automating business processes. Familiarity with developing reusable components for workflows is preferred.
  • Programming Languages: Experience in Java, J2EE Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Design, Hibernate, and Spring framework.
