Position Overview

The Orlando office of Kubicki Draper is in search of a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation. While prior experience in insurance defense is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and respond to significant pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Participate in and lead hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings, as well as facilitate settlement negotiations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Engage in effective communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in civil litigation is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Exceptional academic credentials.
  • A strong ambition for career advancement and leadership roles.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
