Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $140,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for clients throughout all stages of litigation, encompassing investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
  • Draft and prepare essential litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Oversee discovery processes, including the taking and presenting of witness depositions.
  • Formulate litigation strategies and articulate case theories to senior management.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and precedents in preparation for trial.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable resolutions efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel and support to clients throughout the litigation journey.
  • Engage in court proceedings, including hearings, conferences, jury trials, and bench trials.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, offering updates and legal guidance.
  • Adhere to all legal standards and regulations, upholding the ethical and professional standards of the legal field.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution is mandatory.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar of Florida.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with significant involvement in trial proceedings.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong capability to draft and review legal documents and provide advice on complex legal issues.
  • Proven negotiation skills, with a history of securing favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, fostering effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
