Parking Operations Supervisor Job Description

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parking Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Parking and Commuter Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our parking facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train a team of parking service assistants and lead cashiers to ensure excellent customer service and efficient cash handling procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain all parking systems, including revenue control systems, to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve parking operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Police and Security, to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume, cash-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
