POSITION SUMMARY

Location: Community Thrift Store

Employment Type: Part-time, 25-28 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers and donors warmly, fostering a positive environment
  • Handle cash register operations and ensure the front area remains tidy
  • Arrange merchandise on displays and shelves in an orderly fashion
  • Oversee volunteer activities and establish performance objectives
  • Design appealing window displays and seasonal decorations
  • Document incidents for management and participate in store meetings
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma; some college education is advantageous
  • Skilled in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate a volunteer team
  • Meticulous and organized individual
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check
Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, lifting up to 75 pounds, and reaching with arms and hands. Vision capabilities are necessary.
