Job Description:

At Walgreens, we're committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy procedures and regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with counting and measuring
