Position Summary:The Client Support Associate (CSA) plays a crucial role in facilitating care coordination and delivering clinical services. This position is responsible for ensuring a secure environment for clients while promoting effective communication across departments. The CSA is a vital member of the treatment team, collaborating closely with clinical, medical, and hospitality staff to foster a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client and Environment Management:
    • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment in designated areas.
    • Build positive relationships with clients to foster a culture of safety.
    • Encourage client participation in daily activities and programming.
    • Redirect clients to adhere to program expectations.
    • Enforce safety protocols and program rules.
    • Assist in crisis situations, promoting conflict resolution and emotional regulation.
    • Utilize positive reinforcement and supportive techniques to manage client behaviors.
    • Collaborate with the treatment team to support clients considering early discharge.
  • Group and Activity Leadership:
    • Design and facilitate engaging activities to enhance client experiences.
    • Co-facilitate therapeutic groups with clinical staff.
    • Lead group activities aimed at supporting recovery and wellness.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments to address client needs and promote wellness.
    • Establish strong relationships with clinical, nursing, and other support teams.
    • Assist with client admissions and discharges in collaboration with relevant departments.
    • Support medication administration processes as required.
    • Coordinate transportation and scheduling needs for clients.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate client documentation and data entry.
    • Utilize technology and equipment specific to the site.
  • Training and Development:
    • Engage in ongoing education and training related to behavioral health and client support.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Services preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency with technology and electronic systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform routine mobility tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs.
