Key Responsibilities- Greet and escort guests to their rooms, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, as well as local areas of interest and activities.
- Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, and in-room safes.
- Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including loading/unloading luggage, and provide directions as needed.
- Arrange transportation for guests/visitors, recording advance requests as necessary.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises, prioritizing guest safety and security.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and thanking them with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, upholding the highest standards of teamwork and collaboration.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print.
- Move at a speed required to respond to work situations, including running, walking, and jogging.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, or for an entire work shift, maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
- Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps, maintaining a high level of agility and flexibility.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, ensuring a high level of physical stamina.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
- No license or certification required.
