Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As a proactive and collaborative team player, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive individualized care that meets their unique needs.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the delivery of clinical care, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical thinking to ensure individualized care.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Partner with patients and significant others (as appropriate) using effective communication methods, such as bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and just-in-time and planned patient teaching.
  • Practice using current clinical practice standards.
Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model, including diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by practicing in a fiscally responsible manner and promoting the recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members.
  • Participate and support performance improvement, inclusive of all stakeholders, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
Professional Development and Initiative
  • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
  • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses (and staff or students for all disciplines) to ensure a current and future qualified workforce.
Required Minimum Education and License
  • Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing (Preferred)
  • Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and hold basic computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills, along with customer service skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner
