Job Summary:The Custodian will be responsible for performing nightly custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms. You will also be responsible for removing trash and waste, maintaining campus buildings and facilities, and performing light maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine nightly cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms
- Remove trash and waste and place it in designated areas
- Maintain campus buildings and facilities, including performing light maintenance tasks
- Assist with cafeteria dining area setup and teardown
- Perform non-routine cleaning duties, including deep cleaning and special projects
- Perform non-routine maintenance duties, including painting and repairing facilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in janitorial or building maintenance preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
