Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at FactoryFix. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities and operations of our warehouse, ensuring seamless inventory management and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Manage warehouse inventory and maintain accurate database records.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and schedule the movement of products throughout the warehouse, including storage and shipment of finished products.
  • Daily Production and Shipping: Implement daily production and shipping plans, arranging for excess stock to be stored in the warehouse.
  • Storage Space Management: Manage daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments.
  • Inventory Verification: Confirm availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
  • Product Removal: Identify and report slow-moving product and, with approval, arrange for the removal of the product.
  • Pallet Management: Manually handle, repack, or restack pallets of finished product as needed.
  • Forklift Operation: Operate forklift truck as needed.
  • Documentation: Document all related activities and complete forms and reports.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as directed, including managing incoming phone calls and order entry and confirmations using the P21 system.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Warehouse Policies: Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of work experience in a warehouse preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
  • Mobility: Ability to move around the warehouse.
