This role requires a versatile individual adept at diagnosing and resolving a range of equipment issues. The Facilities Operations Supervisor will oversee all maintenance activities, which include basic installation, inspection, and routine upkeep or repair of machinery and equipment. The goal is to ensure operational continuity and enhance efficiency across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and maintain the facility's Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Lighting, and other miscellaneous systems.
  • Manage both preventative and responsive maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to planned maintenance protocols and schedules to maximize the efficiency and longevity of production equipment and building systems.
  • Address line calls and maintenance requests based on their designated priority.
  • Guarantee that the facility operates at full capacity with all utilities functioning optimally.
  • Facilitate communication between the organization and any landlords or external property management entities.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance repair operations, assisting in the evaluation of installation and servicing of building equipment.
  • Comply with and enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations related to facilities, workforce, and cannabis licensing.
  • Collaborate with fellow maintenance team members to devise solutions for issues that may arise with building and production equipment.

Compensation

Annual salary of $75,000 USD.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Maintenance Management.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing maintenance across multiple locations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong background in preventative maintenance.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Technical proficiency is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related applications.
  • Experience in manufacturing settings; cannabis industry experience is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate with external contractors and vendors.
  • Willingness to travel regionally, exceeding 50% of the time.
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to pass a background check is required.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting, carrying, and balancing loads up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), ensuring safety and caution at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the cannabis sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction or carpentry.
  • HVAC certifications or professional experience are highly desirable.
