Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Customer Advocate is the primary point of contact for all service needs for both external and internal clients.
They are responsible for facilitating team service deliverables, managing accurate and efficient responses, and providing subject matter expertise in client services and coordination.
This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary processor of client-related documents and services.
Utilizes standard processes to increase effectiveness and improve overall service delivery.
Administers defined processes, analyzes data, and suggests improvements to enhance the client experience.
Ensures pre-renewal information is sent out within service standards and follows up with clients for timely responses.
Negotiates with carriers on behalf of clients and champions client cross-selling initiatives.
Manages renewal marketing plans with Producers and Service Teams and ensures everyone is aware of the plan and its execution.
Creates accurate proposals and deliverables for Producers and Service Teams to utilize at client renewal meetings.
Reviews quotes for accuracy against supporting documents and negotiates additional coverage or price with underwriters.
Completes renewal bind processes and checklists, ensuring all aspects are completed and documented within the file.
Ensures the file is accurately documented to minimize E&O exposure and to quickly respond to client requests.
Partners with the team to manage workload and deliver exceptional customer service as defined by Acrisure's Customer Service Standards.
Improves client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding customer service standards.
Receives and responds to client calls and email requests per Customer Service Standards.
Uses the Operating Systems (O.S.) as defined and enters necessary information accurately and timely.
Processes daily mail for the agency, applies postage for outgoing mail, maintains the mailroom, and scans, indexes, and distributes incoming mail/faxes and deliveries.
Handles incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and directs callers to the appropriate team member.
Requirements:
Current Insurance License in Property & Casualty and/or Health & Life for the state in which the agency office is located.
Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma (college preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in a Business or related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of 3 years' experience within the insurance industry or business-related experience.
Physical Demands:
The position entails long periods of remaining stationary, whether in a seated or standing position.
Must have access to a reliable source of transportation.
Some travel may be required.
Frequent and extended screen exposure and a large amount of typing.
