Job Overview

Position Summary: As a Material Flow Manager at Qnergy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. This position involves managing daily activities related to receiving, inventory management, and logistics while providing guidance and training to the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse team to ensure efficiency.
  • Manage all aspects of logistics, including receiving, inventory replenishment, and warehousing operations.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels on the production floor to support assembly processes.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy across all Qnergy locations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize layout and space utilization.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with team members and management to address issues and develop solutions.
  • Establish and implement effective material management procedures.
  • Evaluate and adjust inventory levels to align with production needs.
  • Promote compliance with safety and quality standards in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety protocols.
  • Address and resolve material-related challenges that may affect operations.
  • Assign tasks to ensure timely delivery of materials to the production line.
  • Track and maintain certifications and training for team members.
  • Work with HR to document performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations governing materials management.
  • Monitor tools and equipment in the area, coordinating maintenance and suggesting additional equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area to promote safety and accessibility.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Material Manager or in a similar supply chain role.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop a high-performing assembly team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Competent in using computers for various applications, including email and document management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
