Job Title: Sales Executive, Transportation
About Us: GPAC is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States since 1990.
Job Summary: We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in domestic logistics distribution, with a focus on FTL.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new business opportunities
- Oversee staff activities and customer requests
- Partner with the sales and operations teams for optimal customer satisfaction
- Present a streamlined technology solution, developing a detailed analysis of customized needs in challenging areas
- Travel to meet with key clients on a regular basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- 5+ years of experience in overseeing and managing staff
- 5-7 years of experience in domestic logistics distribution, with a focus on FTL
- High energy, with a passion for maintaining and retaining relationships with outside clients and vendors
- Self-starter with strong organization and presentation skills
