Position Available: Traveling Clinical Coordinator for our corporate team.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Development
- Work closely with the Director of Clinical Development to ensure that training programs and resources effectively support clinical teams in delivering high-quality therapy.
- Incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical assessments and training materials.
- Investigate effective treatment interventions and best practices for addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
Clinical Training and Client Interaction
- Lead group sessions and interventions to demonstrate effective clinical techniques.
- Conduct both independent and co-facilitated training sessions for clinical staff.
- Assess the proficiency and needs of clinicians by observing practices across various programs, identifying areas for improvement.
- Engage with clients and alumni to gather feedback on their treatment experiences and factors that support their recovery.
Quality Assurance
- Perform regular chart audits to ensure consistent documentation and adherence to care standards.
- Conduct evaluations to confirm compliance with clinical protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the operations team to maintain an up-to-date understanding of program strengths and weaknesses to guide training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in substance use counseling; experience in a corporate setting is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent counseling, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Certifications: Preferred licensure or certification as a substance use counselor.
Working Conditions:
- Location: Corporate office with options for remote work.
- Travel: Occasional travel required for corporate meetings or conferences.
- Hours: Full-time position with standard hours; flexibility may be needed for urgent situations.
Key Competencies:
- Understanding of substance use disorders and treatment methodologies.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
