Clinical Nutrition Expertise for Senior Living Communities

Crandall Corporate Dietitians seeks a registered dietitian to deliver high-quality food and nutrition services to our senior living communities. As a consulting dietitian, you will be responsible for providing dietary services, quality assurance reviews, and clinical charting, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality and Regulatory Compliance: Conduct thorough reviews and audits of food and nutrition services to ensure adherence to national standards.
  • Clinical Charting: Document weights, new admissions, and high-risk patients as required.
  • Nutrition Education: Provide training and education to staff on nutrition and food safety best practices.
  • Implementation of Plan of Corrections: Develop and implement corrective actions to address any deficiencies or issues identified during quality assurance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registration: Active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State License: Possess a valid state dietary license, if required.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies or have a valid medical or religious exemption.
  • Liability Insurance: Maintain active liability insurance as a contractor.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with staff and management.
  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with basic computer programs.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
