Position Summary:


The Executive Vice President of Operations (EVP) at Lovelace Medical Group represents a unique opportunity for a seasoned healthcare leader eager to make a significant impact within a successful, for-profit healthcare organization.

The EVP will be a proactive leader, setting a standard for excellence and inspiring staff to achieve measurable, accountable, and cost-effective outcomes that align with the organization's mission.

As a vital member of the senior management team, the EVP will oversee and coordinate all operational functions across Lovelace Medical Group's extensive network of clinics.

Additionally, the EVP will play a crucial role in the strategic growth initiatives of Lovelace Medical Group, contributing to the future direction of a rapidly expanding and financially robust organization.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the EVP will lead the development, implementation, and management of all operational systems, processes, and procedures.

The EVP will hold comprehensive responsibility for managing all operational and administrative functions of the organization.

The role encompasses a wide range of administrative services, including overseeing communication strategies and ensuring effective collaboration with hospital leadership to foster the growth of essential service lines.

In partnership with the CEO, the EVP will also be responsible for formulating, executing, and managing the annual budget, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.


Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Organizational Effectiveness:


Develop and implement strategic initiatives and business plans that ensure operational effectiveness and responsiveness across all areas of responsibility.


Engage in negotiations that impact Lovelace Medical Group's quality of care, including capital equipment requests and operational strategies.

Participate in the planning and execution of clinical service programs.


Operational Management:


Establish and maintain effective oversight of all operational functions, including the recruitment, compensation, and evaluation of staff within Lovelace Medical Group.

Collaborate closely with Human Resources to attract and retain top-tier talent.


Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards governing operational functions.


Foster a culture of patient-centered service throughout the organization, monitoring feedback and implementing improvements to enhance patient satisfaction.


Develop and maintain robust reporting systems that reflect operational performance and quality outcomes.


Evaluate compensation models to ensure competitiveness while aligning with organizational goals.


Continuously enhance tools for measuring productivity and clinical effectiveness.


Financial Management:


Oversee all financial planning and budgeting processes for direct reports.


Generate financial reports that meet the needs of both physicians and the organization.


Develop strategies for cost distribution and present budgets for approval.


Quality and Risk Management:


Monitor operational metrics to ensure that organizational goals are met and performance is optimized.


Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop risk management strategies and enhance clinical care standards.


Engage with compliance officers to ensure adherence to all regulations and organizational policies.


Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master's Degree is preferred.


Proven experience in healthcare management, with a strong understanding of operational and financial dynamics within the industry.
