Program Overview

This cost-free training program is hosted in partnership with Project for Pride in Living and is tailored to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to excel in office specialist roles within Hennepin County.

Key Program Benefits

  • You will gain a deeper understanding of clerical and administrative principles, as well as customer service skills.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a virtual and in-person learning environment.
  • You will be well-prepared to apply for in-person Hennepin County positions after completing the program.
  • You will meet the program requirements set by Project for Pride in Living.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this program, you must:

  • Have an interest in clerical and administrative roles.
  • Be interested in applying for in-person Hennepin County positions after graduation.
  • Have 18 months of full-time customer service and/or clerical experience.
  • Be able to attend virtual and in-person daytime classes.
  • Meet program requirements set by Project for Pride in Living.

Program Intended Audience

This program is designed for external candidates who are not currently employed as regular, permanent employees with Hennepin County.
