Job Overview

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing inventory oversight and coordinating shipment schedules for MOBIS. This position serves as a vital communication link with clients to ensure the efficient processing of deliveries and services while adhering to quality standards and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for client production schedules.
  • Track production plans, modifications, and irregular orders, notifying relevant departments.
  • Oversee event parts management and monitor activities related to MOBIS and client operations.
  • Conduct analysis for daily monitoring of critical parts.
  • Facilitate load sheet releases and manage truck scheduling and utilization.
  • Expedite and analyze costs for additional truck orders and cancellations.
  • Monitor EDI and SAP orders, addressing system errors as necessary.
  • Control schedules for pilot and prototype samples.
  • Optimize safety stock levels and conduct minimum and maximum inventory analysis.
  • Manage obsolescence claims and part control.
  • Maintain strong relationships and effective communication with clients.
  • Oversee incoming parts and stock transfer management.
  • Analyze and report on pending ASNs and GR errors.
  • Verify daily and weekly goods receipt processes.
  • Create DMR/RMA reports and maintain packing slip records.
  • Manage the return of samples and quality issue parts.
  • Follow up on OS&D processes and provide reports.
  • Collaborate with receiving clerks and supervisors for problem resolution.
  • Estimate costs for third-party resources and calculate manpower needs.
  • Oversee inventory management in outsourced warehouses.
  • Analyze and report on root causes of warehouse activities.
  • Investigate and report transportation-related issues.
  • Evaluate and set up transportation companies.
  • Conduct PDA cycle counting and verification.
  • Label inventory for delivery as needed.
  • Monitor FIFO inventory and ensure accuracy in high rack storage.
  • Manage offsite inventory rotation.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Report on inventory turnover days and amounts regularly.
  • Analyze daily cycle counting results and identify root causes.
  • Monitor ASN, GR, backlog, and hot parts on a daily basis.
  • Verify daily or weekly goods receipt processes as required.
  • Create DMR and RMA logs consistently.
  • Review load frequency for extra, expedited, or canceled shipments monthly.
  • Optimize truckload capacities for each shipment.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and departmental documentation.
  • Complete special assignments as directed.
  • Job responsibilities may be updated as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Just in Sequence production control within the automotive sector.
  • Experience with MOBIS or similar automotive manufacturers.
  • Background in automotive assembly or manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong sense of accountability.
  • Experience with SAP (PP/MM/SD modules) and MES.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills across various operational areas.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong computer proficiency.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and SAP/MOBIS portals is advantageous.
