Job Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for a designated group of patients, providing both direct and indirect care based on established scientific principles and hospital policies. You will demonstrate proficiency in your specialty area, serving a diverse patient population including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments of patient conditions. Develop and implement care plans, recognizing and reporting changes in patient status, and ensuring safe patient care.
  • Maintain high nursing standards and clinical competencies, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize tasks and resolve issues in alignment with facility policies.
  • Address the personal and practical needs of patients and their families, employing effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrate accountability for completing assignments, showing reliability and compliance with attendance policies, while managing resources efficiently.
  • Engage in ongoing self-development, provide leadership, and actively participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Exemplify HCA values and ethical principles in daily activities.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Active Registered Nurse License.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing.
