Position Overview:
Zurich North America is seeking an experienced AVP Underwriting Program Manager to enhance our Middle Markets Program team. This role offers a hybrid work environment and is open to candidates in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues and concerns related to diverse programs.
- Assist in the completion of dashboards and updates to strategic plans.
- Support the product development lifecycle.
- Execute referrals from Program Administrators.
- Engage in project work as required.
- Participate in underwriting, sales, and claims meetings.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing roles
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 14 years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 5 years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 12 years of experience in Claims or Underwriting Support.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple and diverse assignments effectively.
