Job Summary:

The IT Manager will oversee the IT Department, ensuring the streamlined operation of IT-related activities in alignment with the business objectives of Loffler Companies, Inc. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities, providing administrative direction and support for daily operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
  • Oversee and manage all technical IT projects, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  • Contribute to the Business Continuity Team and Information Security Management System Team, ensuring the organization's IT infrastructure is secure and resilient.
  • Responsible for all information Technology operations, networks, and applications at headquarters and branch locations, planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations.
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring data security, availability, and integrity.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy, identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner.
  • Preserve assets and information security controls, managing yearly spending and optimizing cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to provide a modern workplace experience with technology for both customers and employees.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three days in office.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • High level of accuracy and completion in tasks.
  • Thrives under pressure, prioritizes quickly and efficiently, and is results-driven.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong team player and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
  • Good judgment and technical common sense.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
  • Minimum of 5 years managing people, 10 years systems administration experience, or equivalent proven knowledge.
  • Experience installing and/or maintaining Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Warehouse Management systems, Customer Relationship Management systems, and Professional Service Automation systems.

Work Conditions:

  • High energy position dealing with internal customers daily.
  • Requires occasional evening and/or weekend work for both scheduled and on-call activities.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
