Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist I at Hospital Sisters Health Systems (HSHS), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality X-ray services to our patients. Under the direction of the radiologist, you will closely follow physician's instructions, position patients appropriately, prepare and operate equipment, and accurately record the images requested.

Responsibilities

  • Provide X-ray services to patients under the direction of the radiologist
  • Closely follow physician's instructions and position patients appropriately
  • Prepare and operate equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Accurately record the images requested
  • Work a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday schedule (3 on 4 off)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiology technology program
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice required
  • May accept limited and/or temporary permits/licenses for a period of 12 months
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
