Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologists at Major Health Partners play a vital role in detecting and treating various medical conditions. They perform a range of technical procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals to help diagnose and treat patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the department
- Organize and provide documentation for radiologist interpretation
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff, physicians, and other departments
- Assist with regulatory documentation and procedures
Requirements:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist with advanced training in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine or equivalent
- Certified by NMTCB or ARRT and licensed with the Indiana State Department of Health
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Nuclear Medicine
