Job Summary

As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, the MRI Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization. This position requires a strong foundation in MRI technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging results
• Screens patients and visitors before entering the MRI suite to ensure a safe environment
• Applies principles and theories of MRI technology to produce reliable test results
• Operates MRI equipment and images to obtain a permanent record of the examination
• Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff

Requirements

• One year of hospital MRI experience preferred
• Successful completion of a program from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Registered with the ARRT and certified in MRI and certified by the State of Indiana
• Ability to perform all MRI procedures without constant supervision
